Grounded and Swaying Group on Friday 10th April
Support Groups
By Neurodiversity Belgium
This is an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-informed peer support group.
ACT is an evidence-based approach that helps people manage difficult thoughts and emotions by developing psychological flexibility. It focuses on accepting uncomfortable feelings, staying present, and committing to actions that align with personal values rather than avoiding pain (P & S, 2025).
In this group, we explore how we can continue our journey grounded in our values while remaining flexible in our actions. As we move through different life experiences, our values help keep us grounded.
Each month, we create a safe space to listen, reflect, and share experiences, while exploring tools and strategies for personal growth.
This group is for neurodivergent adults who want to share lived experiences and remain open to learning.
Please note: This is not a therapy group, but an ACT-informed structured peer support space using accessible language.
