Neurodiversity Belgium is a nonprofit organisation led by volunteers, most of whom are neurodivergent. We are self-advocating and shaping the narrative around neurodiversity in the voices of our community.

We need your help to accomplish our goals of spreading awareness and acceptance of neurodevelopmental conditions.

How can you help us?

  • Share any information from this website via social media and with those around you.
  • Join us as a volunteer and help us reach a wider audience.
  • Support us through an affordable donation.

At Neurodiversity Belgium we are committed to supporting neurodivergent people of all ages, and their families through our self-help groups and the information we provide.

Neurodiversity Belgium aims to reduce the stigma and misinformation surrounding ADHD and autism that still exists today – this stigma is something which has a significant effect on many children, teens, and adults, including those who remain undiagnosed and untreated.

Neurodivergent conditions are often misunderstood and are much-maligned, we raise awareness and provide useful information on our social media, website, and our regular newsletter.

We have no employees, so Neurodiversity Belgium is run by volunteers, most of whom are neurodivergent adults, or the family of neurodivergent children and teens.

Despite our best efforts to offer our activities with a minimal budget, we cannot avoid spending money altogether. Most importantly, we must maintain our website so people can learn about our activities, and we have to pay legal fees, so we can exist as an association.

Our income from membership fees is not sufficient to cover all our expenses, so we are asking you to support us with your donations, so we can keep going.

We thank you for all your help!
