Support Groups

By Neurodiversity Belgium

Intersectionality guides our approach. It helps us understand how race, culture, neurodivergence, class, gender, and migration overlap to shape each person’s experience. Instead of reducing anyone to a single identity, we recognize the fullness and complexity of who we are

This space is created for people of the global majority who want a place to breathe, connect, and be understood without having to translate themselves.

We recognize how racism, migration, historical trauma, and cultural expectations shape how we move through the world: our identities, our relationships, our mental health, and our sense of belonging. This space recognizes the significance of these issues, despite their lack of explicit names, support, or open discussion.

In this group, we honor those realities. We value the insight, creativity, and lived knowledge that we experience, and we make room for the different ways our minds work, communicate, and process the world.

This support group is a space where you don’t have to separate your culture, your feelings, or your neurodivergence. This is a place where all aspects of your identity truly belong.
