Meet Your Facilitators: Dr. Johanna Liasides & Monika Shonda

This workshop will be led by Dr. Johanna Liasides, a Greek-American Clinical Psychologist and co-founder of ADHD Athens.  With a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Selinus University, Johanna’s work is dedicated to understanding and empowering neurodivergent individuals. She specializes in helping adults and adolescents move beyond “getting by” to truly thriving by strengthening core executive functioning skills in safe and supportive group settings. Her approach is rooted in the belief that ADHD comes with a unique brain and strengths that, when understood, can lead to immense personal and professional growth.

Joining her is the wonderful Monika Sonda, an ADHD Coach dedicated to inner-world transformation through identification of strengths & developing self-compassion. Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia and now based in Greece, she is also hosting the ADHD MeetUp in Chania. As a late-diagnosed woman who has lived across half of the continents, she long navigated questions of self-worth and belonging – until discovering her ADHD, a realization that emerged after her children were diagnosed. This turning point gently yet profoundly shifted her path from hospitality into coaching. Today, she supports internationals, late-diagnosed adults, and partners or parents seeking to better understand the ADHD brain by helping them harness their strengths with greater self-compassion.
