NDB Parent Support Session (Online) 9 June
Support Groups
By Neurodiversity Belgium
Led by Mejianer Bekaert, educational consultant and ICF-certified coach, this session offers a calm, person-centred space for parents of neurodivergent children.
Parenting a neurodivergent child often means holding many things at once — understanding your child’s unique profile, navigating school systems, and trying to make the right decisions without always having clear guidance.
This online parent support session offers a calm, person-centred space to pause and reflect.
Led by an experienced educational consultant with over 20 years in international education, the session draws on a deep understanding of both the emotional realities for families and the practical challenges within school systems.
This is a non-clinical, supportive space for parents of neurodivergent children to:
- reflect on their child’s learning profile and needs
- share experiences (if they wish to)
- explore ways to navigate school–family alignment
- feel more confident and equipped in their role
There is no pressure to speak, no expectation to have answers, and no one-size-fits-all advice.
Just space — for honesty, perspective, and support.
